Alisha Bell is not only the founder of A Safe House but also a dedicated Certified Community Health Worker, Non-Physician Practitioner, FEMA Emergency Management and First Responder Certified, and Business Consultant with a profound commitment to community service spanning over 20 years. Her engagement with youth is driven by personal experience and a deep passion for their safety, security, education, and overall well-being.

Having experienced foster care herself, Alisha understands firsthand the challenges faced by youth and adults in precarious situations. This personal journey has inspired her to establish an ecosystem within A Safe House, focused on providing essential support to individuals dealing with hardships. Her primary goals include ensuring stable housing, teaching self-sufficiency, workforce and postsecondary career readiness, fostering environments that promote healthier lifestyles, mental and behavior health support, and positive youth development.

Alisha's dedication extends to equipping youth and individuals with the necessary assistance, tools and guidance to navigate mental and behavioral health challenges, thereby promoting self-sufficiency, economic growth, and overall wellness. Her advocacy and leadership within A Safe House exemplify her unwavering commitment to creating positive impacts within every community.

 Nita is a purpose-driven entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience helping others thrive. As CEO of HerPath, LLC, she empowers women to launch successful businesses in transportation and Health Care— but her passion also lives in serving youth and families. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, Nita is a wife, mom of four, and the only child of a single parent, which shaped her mission to uplift others through access, education, and opportunity. Nita expresses how proud she is to serve as Vice President in membership of A Safe House Corporation, supporting housing collaboration and stabilization, mental health navigation, and workforce and career readiness development. With her extensive tenure in transportation, Nita also assists with Driver's License and CDL Training within the Workforce Development Program for A Safe House. Nita also serves on the board of Baliee’s Heart, Inc. an organization where she blends her business savvy skills with big compassion to help young people believe in themselves, chase their purpose while transitioning from Foster Homes. Last but certainly not least, her mentorships with Ladies Under Construction and Girls In Training, helping young ladies believe in themselves and build a better future. Changing lives isn’t just her passion — it’s her purpose. 💪🏽💖

Not your average! Andrew Suddarth is a brilliant computer scientist and entrepreneur with an impressive decade plus-long career in software. Humbly serving A Safe House's Technology needs, he exceeds our expectations and adds the "T" in Team! His personal tech journey began with the founding of his company, 3DMisc, and the structuring of affiliates and clients technology needs by showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and technical expertise.

Within A Safe House, Andrew plays a pivotal role in meeting all technological requirements with security, integrity, communication and dedication.
